My wedding, a disaster.

I didn’t think I would find myself in a wedding dress and even less in Paris half naked with 10 degrees outside. The time of some pictures for the collection « Il a dit Oui » of Claudie Pierlot, I had « fun » rememorizing my own wedding.

My wedding… A long story…. July 2011. The month starts marvelously with a great weather. The 16th of July 2011, which was supposed to be the most beautiful day of my life, it is raining like hell. From 8 am that morning till 8am the next one. The evening was supposed to be outside. Even the tents we had put didn’t stay because of the rain pouring non stop. In short, a catastrophe. There, you say to yourself « the main point is that you have your family around etc, etc, etc… » I cut you short : I have not spent a minute with my family, nor my friends, not even my husband. The dress didn’t fit, the flowers didn’t fit either all the tables outside had to be urgently brought inside, I was running all over the place to try to make this day go well. In short, I have seen no one, the passed away at a hundred miles and slowed down at the same time. A complete horror.

We have decided to get married again, for our 10 years, without any rain and no catastrophe. But anyway, it was a little more than 5 years ago and we are still totally in love. So, as we say in french « rainy wedding, happy wedding »

Instagram : we are liars.

Aaaaaaah… Instagram VS real life. I am not going to draw you a picture, you’ve understood it. We understand ourselves.

Between us, I seldom take my coffee legs crossed, wearing some cocooning socks on my white linen sheets… These surex images, these dishes we eat cold because we didn’t know under which angle to take them, these selfies #nofilter that have gone through facetune (aka photoshop iPhone), these art lattes on marble table, you know them by heart. A day with me

leia sfez« Can you tell us what your typical day is? »

My typical day?

I get up around 6 am, I prepare a ginger juice with apple and kale and then I go jog. Back at home, I prepare a full breakfast for my husband and daughter while my son drinks his bottle. 8:10, time to bring my daughter to school after doing her a pretty braid. On the way, Lire l’article

I moved and I hate Pinterest

I’m not used to this new home, new life. I don’t know if we will stay there for long but I do my best to make this place a warm place. I spent hours spoting Pinterest to find inspiration, to find the missing pieces… Pinterest, the network that makes me want to have everything and that makes me feel like I have nothing. This network where you spend weeks to find ideas that you try to do, to actually find something even better, then better and then something else better. Damn, it never stops! Lire l’article
